Join us as we Run Like a Girl in 2024 on Saturday, May 18th.  We will have all three running events back again this year, half marathon, 10k and 3k/6k! The Interurban trail, with all of the sparkling bay views, will be exploding in gorgeous spring-green glory for the half marathon and 10k and the Hundred Acre Woods for the 3k/6k. Due to trail closures we were not able to get a 5k course. We are offering the course as a 3k or you can go twice around for a 6k!

Grab your friends for a Girls' Weekend, or bring your family to cheer you on. We like to think of this as The Other Mother's Day, where we get to treat all the mother-types and those who love them to the most fun-per-mile event around. As always, everyone is welcome - dogs, partners and friends of all genders can Run Like a Girl together.

We will kick the weekend off with the Run Like A Girl Shindig at Boundary Bay Brew Garden again this year on Friday May 17th. Join us for a fun evening with games, music, raffle, and food will be available to purchase.

This is an event you don't want to miss!

Girls On The Run Info

The driving force behind this event is the ability

to provide funding for Girls on the Run!

The Girls on the Run program provides preadolescent girls with the necessary tools to embrace their individual strengths and successfully navigate life experience. Our annual Run Like a Girl 3k/6k, 10k and Half Marathon is the signature fundraiser for Girls on the Run scholarships. Your support ensures that we can continue to grow to serve more girls, schools and communities in the coming years.

Not able to attend the event or would like to help Girls on the Run right away?

We have a variety of options available to provide extra financial support to Girls on the Run.

Serving our communities is what we do.

It’s what we’ve done for over 95 years, and it’s as much a part of who we are as our banking services.

Together with our employees, Heritage Bank supports hundreds of local nonprofit organizations with donations of time, resources and money, while leveraging our banking expertise to support affordable housing and financial literacy projects that strengthen our communities.

Because we know when neighbors help neighbors, the whole community benefits. And that’s true prosperity.
